Michelle is was the daughter of a rich baron and noblewoman. Until a masked man killed both of them.
She was adopted by Lady Gladys and grew up in the Shutter Castle Estates. Once she turned 21, Michelle was turned over to the old madman named "Cavern Jacobs".
He used his black magic to infuse her with the ability to summon bi-directional supernatural gateways.
Michelle was then forced into a series of specially set up caves to test this new power of hers, until she managed to find her way to old lady Gladys and used the rifts to tear her apart.

Nice going with the subtle references to the original there 
I love that Michelle has the abilities to create portals by herself rather than using the gun 
The effects look great and, that coat is a great addition that fits with Portal esthetics!
